Red lips for May
This month, we’re supporting ‘Kiss Goodbye to MS’ and we encourage you to get behind it too (make a donation here).
Did you know there are 25,600 Australians living with MS, 3 in 4 are women and the average age of diagnosis is just 30 years of age?
‘Kiss Goodbye to MS’ runs for the month of May and is focused on raising money for MS Research Australia to fund life changing research.
There are a number of ways you can get involved:
- Dress Red. Host a work or school mufti day with a spray of red; get sponsored to wear red lipstick, nails, socks or tie throughout May; or if you’re up for the challenge, dye your hair red!
- Host an event. Arrange a red morning tea; host a cocktail and canapes party; or the classic sausage sizzle.
- Challenge a friend. Remember all those books you read as a child for the MS Readathon and the sense of accomplishment you felt as you tallied up your books read, and funds raised with your classmates? Well, you can relive that championship status by setting your own local community challenge.
- Share. Share. Share. Help raise awareness about MS and the ‘Kiss Goodbye to MS’ fundraising drive by sharing pics of your involvement on social media– don’t forget to tag #KissGoodbyeToMS
